Wild Poppy Texas did an amazing job on the flowers! I loved the little succulents in the bouquets.

During the vows, Laurie accidentally put Chad’s wedding ring on his right hand and then it got stuck! Everyone was cracking up! It was such a cute moment.

I love all of the action going on in this shot. Notice the beer bottle directly below the lens and the shadow of the groomsman taking a swig.  Nice!

This might be my all-time favorite reception shot. They got inspired by Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and actually poured sugar all over Kristin’s chest.  And then someone had to help her get cleaned up, right? Chase is such a gentleman.

I’m thinking running man?

James turned the reception into a karaoke bar. It was awesome!!

Well, Laurie told me that her friends planned on partying at their reception, and they did not disappoint!! CJ and I had such an awesome time at Laurie and Chad’s wedding.  They have such a huge group of close friends and you can tell how much they all love Laurie and Chad. This was the first reception I’ve seen where the mic got passed through the crowd during the toast and at least 20 people wanted to share some kind words for the bride and groom. They are definitely well-loved. And I can see why.

Laurie and Chad chose to get married on the same date as Laurie’s grandparent’s and great-grandparent’s anniversary, so their wedding held extra special meaning for them. They’ve been together over 10 years, so it was perfect that they dance their first dance to Etta James’  “At Last.” Congratulations to you Laurie and Chad!

Luv it! Jennifer, I’ve been dying to see these. They look stylish and fun just like the couple. I can’t wait to someday go to Austin and have you do photos of me and my hubby! And, Stacy, I agree with your comment about the bridesmaid dresses. Karen did an awesome job designing them.
