Yay! I just put the finishing touches on our fancy new blog, so head on over to check it out!! We’re no longer J. Nichols Photography, but The Nichols!! My husband CJ has become such an integral part of our business that I wanted to bring him on board with our branding. Not only is he an amazing photographer, but I couldn’t have done any of this without his support. I love you CJ!!
First up, Julie and Chris’s wedding, followed by our Acapulco adventure! Leave me a comment on the new blog and let me know what you think! I looooove comments:)
I won’t be posting here anymore, but this blog will remain up as archives.
Thanks!
Jennifer

We got a good laugh out of this. Looks like they ran out of room on this sign, and just said, “To heck with it, you get the idea!”
Amy and Dane are such a fun couple! We got to break in our new studio (more to come) and shoot a little inside before venturing out into our new Eastside neighborhood. They’re getting married at the end of this month and we’re super excited about their wedding!!
And since so many folks ask for recommendations on what to wear for their engagement sessions, take a cue from Amy and Dane. I LOVE what they chose to wear. A classic dress always looks great, and their color choices really compliment each other. It was fun guys! See you in a few weeks!

Adorable!
Alexandria and Dean are New Yorkers, but they decided to get married in San Antonio so they could celebrate with Alex’s grandparents.
Alex was a knock-out!
Dean and his groomsmen had this great idea to re-enact the “Evolution of Man.” Hilarious!!
Alex and Dean decided to go with a less-traditional first dance and entertained the crowd with a dance ala Pulp Fiction. They were fabulous!
They passed out cowboy hats to all of the guests during the reception. They were a huge hit!
Alexandria and Dean are our second New York couple of this year, and I gotta say, I’m lovin’ the New Yorkers! These two were so cool and easy-going and had a blast celebrating with their friends and family. They were married at the Little Church of La Villita, an adorable little historic chapel in San Antonio. The reception followed at The Westin Hotel, just a short walk from the chapel along the Riverwalk.
Congratulations Alex and Dean! We had a great time celebrating with you! Hope you enjoyed your honeymoon!
